Who I am

I'm Charlie Barlow, one of Australia's most experienced live event hosts and corporate MCs.

I've spent six years building a career in the most demanding live environments in the world. The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, MotoGP, Supercars and World Time Attack Challenge. Events where there is no second take, no safety net, and 483,934 people watching.

That world taught me something that transfers directly to every corporate event I host preparation is everything, presence is everything, and the person holding the microphone sets the tone for the entire room.

I bring that standard to every event I'm trusted with from product launches to leadership conferences, brand activations to awards nights.

 I work with corporate clients, brand teams and event managers who need more than someone to read a script. They need someone who can hold a room, adapt in real time, make their brand look premium and ensure their guests leave having felt something.

• Corporate conference hosting — full day and half day. I manage the flow, the energy and the transitions so you can focus on your guests.
• Product and brand launches — I've hosted car launches, race team announcements and major brand reveals. I understand how to build anticipation and deliver a moment.
• Awards nights and gala events — warmth, timing and the ability to read a room are everything. I bring all three.
• Panel facilitation and moderation — I draw out the best from your speakers, keep sessions on time and make complex conversations accessible.
• Brand activations and hospitality events — premium environments require a host who belongs in them. I do.

From the moment you enquire, the process is straightforward.

You'll receive a response within 24 hours. We'll have a short conversation about your event — the audience, the objective, the tone you want to set. I'll send you a proposal that's specific to your brief, not a generic package.

Before your event, I prepare thoroughly. I research your brand, your speakers and your guests. I arrive early. I brief your production team. I make sure the first moment your audience sees me, they feel confident they're in good hands.

After your event, your guests remember how it felt. That's the job.

My availability is limited. I take on a select number of corporate engagements each year to ensure every client receives my full attention.
